About

Court Appointed Special Advocates:"A voice for abused and neglected court dependent children, through trained, compassionate volunteers."

Mission
The National CASA Association, together with its state and local members, supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes.

Company Overview

One of the most challenging problems society faces today is the increasing number of at-risk children. CASA of Ventura County is a volunteer-driven program that provides a powerful voice in court for children who must be removed from their homes by protective services due to abuse/neglect. They then become dependents of the court. Trained CASAs work one on one with these children as they move through the court process. In an ever-changing world of attorneys, social workders, schools, therapists and foster placements, the CASA volunteer is often the only constant. The CASA also acts as a mentor
and often forms a bond with the child that lasts for years. Your participation will enable more CASA volunteers to make a big difference in the lives of these vulneralbe children.
